Goodline privacy policy

Effective September 22, 2026. Goodline is provided by Brianna Zamora. This policy explains what happens to information when you use the Goodline app.

Your writing

Goodline stores documents in the location you choose, such as on your device or in iCloud Drive. The developer does not operate an account service or a server that receives your documents. If you use iCloud Drive or document collaboration, Apple processes and stores the content under your Apple Account. If you choose to share a document or join a SharePlay session, content is shared with the people you choose through Apple’s services.

Purchases

Apple handles the free trial, one-time purchase, and restore process. Goodline reads verified purchase status from StoreKit to decide whether editing is available. The developer does not receive your payment-card details.

Optional features

Camera scanning uses your camera only when you start a scan. Transcription processes a recording you select using Apple’s on-device speech tools; Apple may download language assets. Writing tools use Apple’s device-dependent frameworks. Goodline does not send the content of these tasks to a developer-operated server.

If a document contains an HTTPS image link and you preview or export that image, Goodline requests it from the linked website. That website may receive your network address and request information under its own privacy practices. Goodline does not attach your document text to that request.

Diagnostics and contact

Goodline does not include a developer-operated analytics or advertising service and does not track you across apps or websites. If you email support, the developer receives the information you choose to send and uses it to respond to your request.

Your choices

You can keep documents on your device, avoid optional sharing and linked images, and manage iCloud data in Apple settings. You can request deletion of emails you sent to support by contacting bri@briannadoubt.com. Deleting the app does not automatically remove documents stored in Files or iCloud Drive.
